The West Region division of Southern Concrete Materials serves various cities throughout the Western North Carolina Region. Our locations currently include West Waynesville, Sylva, Franklin, Bryson City, Andrews, Murphy, Hayesville, Blairsville, and McCaysville. We are certified by the North Carolina Department of Transportation and have two truck shops that service our fleet of 24 active trucks, 22 mixers, and two haul trucks. Our local central dispatch center in Waynesville serves these plants.

SCM has partnered on various projects in higher education, including the upper campus dorms, the Multi-Use Building, and Brown Cafeteria at Western Carolina University. We’ve also supplied for grocery store projects such as the Publix in Waynesville and the Ingles in West Waynesville and Franklin. Other projects include the Pepsi Warehouse, Cullowhee’s Fire Department, and the bowling alley at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort.

We are passionate about serving the West Region, known for the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and its reputation for excellent higher education.
